Tarkala
The EiraMare housing project in Helsinki comprises three residential buildings with a total of 46 apartments close to the sea in southern Helsinki.
The construction work was started in April 2006 and the buildings were completed in March 2008.
The apartments are designed to high standard and special attention has been paid to living comfort.
The latest innovations have been implemented throughout the project. For example, all pipes, both for water and heating, can be easily replaced when necessary and possible leakage in pipes can be detected quickly. The apartments can be cooled with cooling beams, a solution that has not been used in residential buildings before.
