The Business Area Nordkalk is the leading producer of limestone-based products in northern Europe.
Nordkalk extracts more than 10 million tonnes limestone yearly from its own deposits and processes it into various products for e.g. the paper, steel, construction materials and chemical industries as well as for environmental care and agriculture. Depending on the quality and the characteristics of the limestone, it can be crushed or ground, processed into quicklime or slaked lime.
Nordkalk operates in more than 30 locations in the Nordic countries and the Baltic Sea region. The production units are located in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Estonia and Russia.
