JUNIOR INVESTMENT PROFESSIONAL

We are currently looking to recruit a high calibre junior professional for our investment team:

Role description

  • Contribute to all aspects of deal flow from sourcing to evaluation of potential investments to managing deal execution across Rettig Groups’s different investment areas (Private Core Investments, Listed Core Investments, and Financial Investments)
  • Provide detailed company and sector research analysis to support investment decisions with a clear focus on financial modelling
  • Interact with our network of advisors and managers
  • Prepare investment decision memos, board materials, supporting analyses for Rettig Group’s management team, as well as analyses for portfolio company Boards
  • Assist in preparing investment performance reports

Requirements

  • Preferably 1-3 years experience in some combination of M&A / corporate finance, management consulting, private equity, or transaction services
  • Strong analytical abilities and strong experience from financial and business modelling is seen as a strong asset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness and interest to work across a wide range of asset classes and a wide range of varying projects
  • Ability to work independently as we are a small team

CEO/TEAM ASSISTANT

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced CEO/Team Assistant for our operations:

Role description

  • Assist management in coordinating and executing various tasks related to duties of the CEO and CFO as well as in the area of legal matters
  • CEO assistant tasks are expected to take up approximately half of total work time
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Develop and maintain effective administration procedures, including systematisation of archiving and data processing functions
  • Manage and control relationships with various service providers and partners, such as external IT support, communications agencies, facility management service providers, event organisers and travel agencies
  • Coordinate travel arrangements

Requirements

  • Preferably 5+ years experience working in assistant role(s) supporting expert organisation(s) involved with M&A/corporate finance, management consulting, private equity, accounting, transaction services or similar
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Willingness and interest to work with a wide range of varying tasks and projects
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
